Withoutby kiwinessComment: this shot is unbelievably good ... true, it doesn't have much to do with footwear ... but still unbelievably good.

The immeasurable fabulosity of Ms Mia Burnsby ergoComment: Greetings from the Critique Club ...
Very nice, as the other commentors said, she's extremely cute. I like the scene, it fits the challenge, and I don't mind the border (although the border didn't add anything to the photo either).
Some other things I notice: The top of her head is cut off. Sometimes this is ok, but in this case is more looks like you just missed the shot you were looking for. Her arms are a little awkward, and the subject being dead center give the feel of "snapshot" rather than "candid moment". Perhaps taking a series of photos in a row would have helped you get a slightly better overall composition.
Still, a nice job.

Very well done. You photo meets the challenge, is technically well done, and is a great idea.
The only constructive criticism I have is the belt caught a little too much light as is drawing away some attention from the rest of the photo. Also, (and this is very minor) the light source seems just a little bit low which is casting a shadow on his neck, but again - no big deal really.
I like the idea a lot, and it seems others did, too. Nice photo, nice finish. Well done.

It's a rough gameby KHoltComment: Greetings from the Critique Club ...
I'm gonna be honest with you, there's nothing to critique. This is superb shot. You froze the action. The expressions are perfect. The background is thrown out of focus. The intensity is clearly shown. It meets the challenge.
The glare off the goal post is a slight distraction, but it's not like you can direct them to "scuffle" about 5 feet to the left :)
In my opinion, you got an excellent score, but it should have been higher. Fickly voters, I guess.
Awesome Job. |

Western Flairby slgardnerComment: Greetings from the Critique Club ...
An awesome shot, and an awesome finish! There's not too much to critique here, so let me just give a few of my personal opinions.
It's technically perfect. Toning, sharpness, DOF, beauty, make-up, pose, ... it's all great. In my opinion, the crop isn't right for this shot. This model's beautiful face and stare are making the image. Maybe cropping a little tighter to get her face bigger in the frame would have added a bit (it would have for me). The current crop at the bottom seems just a bit awkward. Other than that, a shallower depth of field would have really thrown the background out, but it's still good as is.
Very well done!
