Lighting is poor. Seems too un-natural. Focus is off. The main problem is that there is no focal point. The shot comes off flat.

Hmmm. This doesnt do a lot for me. I had considered shooting an old record as well, but didnt get around to it. I think the only thing that may have made this better is to include more of the label so we can see who the artist is or what the song is. People have emotional attachments to music, and that may have spoke better to some.
