Pure Motionby chaliceComment: Another one that deserved a much higher score :( Unlucky Chalice at least the commentators understood it. |

Daisies in the rainby ShutterPugComment: Love the main flower and the contrast of it against the dead one.
One bit of CC I would give is that as this was fairly heavily processed anyway I would have removed the very vertical stem from the image as well, this would have allowed for a slightly tighter crop to the right which I think would give a little more balance to the overall image.
Still I do really like this, one thing that really is interesting is the way the background suggests movement and the flowers are perfectly still, that's a really nice effect. |

The Underclassby SaraRComment: I really like this, I also like the crop personally, although I think had someone been exiting the photo far right so you just caught the side of them that would have just finished it off for me :)
I love the B&W conversion and I like the way the lines lead me into the image.

Hang On!by JessiComment: Sorry about your score here Jessie I think you were robbed a bit as it is a clever shot, probably down to the fact it required more than 2 seconds to actually see what's going on in the shot :(
As I said I would have scored this 7 or 8 had I been voting just for using a flip but adding something original in to it to make the flip mean something. |

~Just me~by Dirt_DiverComment: I would like to add to my comment below actually (as I posted in the challenge postmortem thread) and please bear in mind I was only commenting so came at it from a different angle than most others (voters and those leaving comments).
I think as you say there were a reasonably large amount of entries that were just a flip rotation without the flip / rotation adding anything to the image, I think the important thing here was had you added an element of upside down in this image (a glass full of fluid that was pointing to the top of the image as one other person did) it would have better met the challenge.
Sorry if my comment sounded harsh it wasn't meant as a rant and I do think this is technically a very good SP. |
