 I don't really see the point of this challenge after the affluence challenge; however, I am useless with motion blur shots, so it was either enter this one or let my team down for the week.
I stuck a bit of toothpick into a blob of blutac and stuck each coin to the toothpick with more blutac, to keep them standing. The black background is a pillowcase. The light was my overhead kitchen light and a lamp. I know there's a bit of glare on the £2 coin but I did the best I could in basic to tone it down. I also was annoyed at how beat up the 50p looks but it is 11 years old after all.

Edit: Crop, resize, adjusted brightness/contrast using levels, lowered the yellow and red channels slightly, sharpened and added the border.

I really like this. Congrats on the 9th placing & the new personal best. Is it my imagination or is the queens face on the front coin frowning at all the others? I like your set up. Just goes to prove you don't need all the sofisticated studio gear to achieve a great shot. Well done.

I love the perfect geometry on this shot - it must have taken an age to get it right! Great depth of field adds to the impact and the border is a great touch to square up the aspect ratio.
