I have a hundred of these things. you get a 1 from me. Because there is a better fly picture, it got a 2. Fly's may be mother natures pet, but they aren't ours.

beautiful cat. Nice set up, and great DOF. I can see the idea on the crop and composition, but for me personally it doesn't work. There is too much blank space. I Think maybe a square crop would have been better, and keep the entire laptop in frame. That is my main criticsm but composition is most important to me, so i only gave it a 5.

I gave a 1 because i doubt that this is a pet of yours, or of anyones. Mother natures pet doesn't qualify for me. Nice Crop, clean, vibrant, and sharp, but wrong challenge.

I am afraid i am giving you a 1. This is a good shot of a spider, but this does not qualify as a pet portrait. Had this been a Macro challenge, or insect challenge i would consider a 6 or 7. It is vibrant and the focus is nice, but it seems just a bit noisy, and there are a few blown out spots on it.

No, someone else has this pet too. Good pic, with good color. Fly's are disgusting and you've captured it well, but not the right pic for this challenge. I gave you a 2 for that. I think i gave the other fly a 1. Sorry.
