The Boatby Geo_GriffinComment: The boat is very much the focal point and the sky (negative space) does not create the WOW of the shot,, the red bouy does. IMO |

Batavia 1887by pitsamanComment: I think having the focus reversed would have made a more dramatic shot. The church in sharp focus and the flowers out. I also would have moved the point of view up, more space at the top of the image, or tried to capture the building w/o the sign on the railing. |
