The turn table spins and spills a cornucopia of nostalgic (ok, elevator music) Lps in front of it. Not only are the LPs a thing of the past. . . so are some of the artists shown which adds to the timliness. Figured the (senior) viewer would automatically be drawn to scanning the array to find something they remembered. The color is acurate. . . faded! And, as you view it, the album covers become more faded as they drift off to the top right. And, yes, they still sound good with minimum distortion and most with no crackling. I am just praing my turn table holds out. Trying to find a replacement would certainly prove to be a challenge.

As the rule stated, I only resized the initial shot for the web.

This photo reminds me of alot. Making a mess of my dads records and my sister and i lip singing to all of the oldies. I wish i still had my old entertainment center. The composition is great, I would have darkend this photo a little (IMO)

Defiinately shows something from the past. It looks a little cluttered for my taste though. I might have liked to see only a few records in the image. I can't really find a resting place for my eyes. Lighting is good, no shadows or spots that are too bright. I think it helps the focus when lighting is good, and your focus is really good here, as we can read all these album covers. I am glad you included the record player in the photo. I don't think it would have worked as nicely without it. ~Heather~

And it's in color, so many are black and white. Well done.

Some great vinyl. Might work better with the cabinet left of the Hi-Fi cropped off...and above the back of the playing record...hate to lose too much of the Denver, but the reflection off that glass and the glimpse of the CD player kinda takes away from it a bit.

Sorry, 1 point deduction for having John Denver records.. (that's a joke} nice take on the challenge. Just a little overexposed, or in need of more contrast.
