Very Formalby basia03Comment: I like the colors and the theme, but I think with the crystal blending in so well with the pattern of the linens, there seems to be a little too much unused space at the top left. This makes the whole shot feel unbalanced. I would also like to see the bottom of the plate and silver not cut off since those really are the focal point in the shot. Interesting and unique idea for this challenge. |

Dreamingby mbardeenComment: This is one of my favorites. I like the contrast you used to many of the standard black and white shots where black is the dominant color. You did the exact opposite and it is quite a nice effect. |

Avuxeniby albright1Comment: I'm glad you kept this in color. Great choice of backdrops as it highlights your natural color (particularly your eyes) and beauty. |

Self Portrait #4by jillzComment: A lovely, classic black and white. This is what a portrait should be. IMHO, of course. |

Quiet Morningby dmungerComment: Among my favorites. I love your silhouette against the natural lighting of the sunrise. Framing and focus is perfect. Just a great shot. |

Pinkie's picby pinkieComment: Using mirrors is a fairly common technique for a self-portrait, but the focus is quite soft on this and it's not quite level. |

"Dizzy"by sfarrell23Comment: In my most humble opinion, a portrait shot should be just a little bit brighter than this. I try to imagine it as something a family member would want to frame and hang on their wall or display on their desk. A little more brightness would have done you more justice, especially since you have warm eyes. Show them off. |

Meby nathaliedooComment: I would like this more if it your face was just a tad bit brighter. You get lost in the shadows. But I like the close-up framing and your hand on your forehead is a nice touch. |
