drop dead gorgeous of a drop dead gorgeous lady. Superb work. I, like others here, would have given it a Spinal Tap 11...

Oh, BTW... I'd love to know something about the lighting set-up.

I like the shot, but I would have masked the brush stokes off the boy and either left him sans strokes, or used another brush for him. A single contiguous brush stroke can't actually change color as it moves across a canvas.

Nice shot, although bit underexposed for my taste. I think you will minimize the ring if turn down the in-camera sharpening. Sharpening wants to increase contrast at places it determines as object edges. I assume you can adjust that with your DX40.

Great shot. I have never been able to get any sky color in my full moon shots. It seems when I get the exposure right to show detail in the moon, the sky goes black. I usually shoot with a about a stop and a half less exposure, which would certainly explain my black skys. In any event, Great shot. One of my favorites.

BTW.. handheld? WoW. You have a steady hand.

You seem to have heard it all before... gorgeous model, great pose, stunning eyes. I am a bit curious about the "blotchiness" in her face colorization. All in all, a great photo.

Next day. Infinitely better on a better monitor. All in all, couldn't ask for a better shot.

Great control of color pallet. Very pretty young lady with a heaping helping of attitude. I like the angle across the photo canvas. I am not sure what to think about her left elbow. Perhaps having her pull the arm back a little further would keep in it frame.

All in all, I like the picture a lot.

I really like this photo. I think it could use a more interesting title, like "what does this button do", or "just look at this guy", "OH MY... what is (s)he doing?" I find the expression on the face of the young lady in yellow is very intriguing. For me, that carries this photo. Perhaps that is where you found your focus as her eyes are precisely according to the rule of thirds... for whatever that is worth.
