little manby laurie241Comment: Stuck in the middle. Too sharp to be soft focus, to soft to be sharp focus. So it just looks blurry and washed out. Cute little guy, though. |

The Muffin Manby Bear_MusicComment: Way too much going on in the background. I get that this shot would not make sense without something in the background, but I would rather see it or see less of it. My blurring it completely with a dof change, I get left wondering why he's wearing a hat and a rain coat. |

Staccatoby banmornComment: The reflections of the colors on the glasses is a great idea. But as art speaks differently to different people, I have to say, I just am not that excited when I see it. There is no "wow, that's phenominal." |

Peek-a-Boo by gauravComment: The face of your subject communicates a ho-hum attitude and that's what I get. Perhaps cropping out all of the white on the right and elongating the top & bottom to add more vertical interest... |

Peeeeek A Boooo, I Looooove Yoooouu !!!!by BrianRComment: I'm thinking that this should have been either completely in soft focus or completely in sharp relief. Right now, with the combo of the two, it seems unbalanced and oof. i.e. my eyes go right to the eyebrows of the mask on the right, then I see the scarf of the woman. The faces, as a whole, are the last thing I see. |

birthdayby GordonComment: I feel that this was shoehorned into the challenge. As a shot, by itself, very interesting and it could be fabulous in another setting. So, if you removed the person, resaturated the colors of the hills and sky and put it into something that communicates vastness, you've have a knock-out. |

Peeking at youby KrisbyComment: I feel that the eye isn't framed well. The shadow from the thumb stops the line of the eye. I would move the hand towards the ear. Also, too much editing for my tastes. |

Surprise!by timwest167Comment: I think you've got wrong pepper. A green or red would have added more depth to this shot, not to mention the hamster would be easier to see. Also, the focal point seems to be in the upper left corner above the animal. This, however, could be my eyes. |
