Very cool shot....like the old swingline is an martial arts movie jumping up into the air and shooting off a blast of staples. Very novel, creative and innovative. Like this very much. THinking that I know how you did it makes it a bit better except that I wish that you had considered cloning the away the reflections of the staples in the mirror. It might have been just a bit more effective. Just a nit. But you can do that in the member challenge so why not? Cool none- the- less.

Think this might have worked better without the hot spots but as they are there, then perhaps losing some of the image might give a more extraordinary look. you might have considered a CW rotation and cropping from the top most drops down. It might be more abstract that way but the idea that it is an apple is too evident in the image as it is.

THis was one my only ten in the the challenge so I am real surprised that it did not do better. I found this image extremely fascinating and hope you might think of trying it again for the fire challenge, unless, of course you have some other great idea for same. Like this very much as an abstract and would like to see what you might get with further experimentation. Great job! RoB

Like the reflections in this very much and the exposure is fine but perhaps a change in white balance....the dark is too brown for my tastes. And a bit of CW rotation?
