I gave this a 9 as it I thought it fit the challenge very well and it was a very interesting shot with excellent DOF and fine detail in the foreground subject. Super! Congrats on your finish...wish it had been higher. With regards to the shot with the rear subject in focus, I like this better and think the angle better on this with regards to the further subject...too much table in the other.

Love the lines in this very much, David! THe gossamer puff through which the lead to the the great center is astounding as well. The detail is thorough and exicting as is the lighting. Super. I am fascinated by the circumstances of this shot. Great find. The surrounding wood appears a bit overexposed to me, but it is so different from everything else I've seen, I'll let that go. Good luck!

Yesireebob that is some great shot. The POV is excellent, the lighting unsual and done very well. Great colors, composition and the reflection is outstanding. No nits from me. I cannot imagine what anyone would have to nit about so if you get any nits, let me know and I'll have words with them....LOL! ....OK...well maybe the frame, BUT I am anti frame and this one even adds to the image for me. Excellent color choice. Super, excellent, WOW! sign me up!
