Net Shot Gerbera Xby banmornComment: Thanks Robert, Steve, Joey and Daniel! I appreciate it and all the great comments and votes. Didn't ribbon but I got over a 7 for the first time. Guess I'll have to reset my goals or get another camera or something. What a week! I hope to have the pleasure again soon, but not next week...whew I am stinking in circles and family! LOL! RoB |

Stop And Taste The Flowersby CoozComment: Beautiful capture of the echinacea and bee, great detail and colors. Not sure of the bees position in this and I think there might have been more of above the bee so he does not seem so cramped. Like that pollen build up on its leg. Did you notice any almost anesthetic effect of the flower on the bee....I saw one and it look half drunk and was just roaming about the flower very slowing. Most interesting. Good luck! |

Summer Blueberriesby rscorpComment: Great texture contrasts on this, nice choice of background for that reason. These blues are huge and look lush and full of juice. Hope you enjoyed them later. Good luck! |

Summer Showerby Links 2 3 4Comment: I like how you captured the rain in this and the composition of its diagonal downward motion. Macro wise it is fine to me because of the rain capture but I'm guessing you might be getting a lot of it is not macro. Great shot! |

Bee and Lavenderby janrussComment: Awesome detail on the bee and the foremost of the flowers and buds. Love the DOF. The bee, and you, made a very wise color choice and purple and green is one of my favorite color combos! I might be wishing the bee's wings were both totally in focus, but that adds to the depth of this. Great shot. Good Luck! |

Damsel in distress?by sidpixelComment: I like the leaf here showing scale and though the composition is a bit stagnant I would think it be hard to compose and capture all this so no problem there. Love the shadow under the right fly very much, adds a lot of tinterest.....Is he waiting for a go, I wonder? Great capture. good luck! |
