Strong sense of drama. You really caught this bee. DOF works well.

Beautiful capture of the echinacea and bee, great detail and colors. Not sure of the bees position in this and I think there might have been more of above the bee so he does not seem so cramped. Like that pollen build up on its leg. Did you notice any almost anesthetic effect of the flower on the bee....I saw one and it look half drunk and was just roaming about the flower very slowing. Most interesting. Good luck!

Always love Macro shots of insects. The colors and DOF are really eye appealing.

classic. good focus. background flower is distracting. I actually like the flower more than the bee.

Great entry. The flower is amazing. The bumblebee reminds me of a rabbit for some reason.

I think the sharp focus and DOF makes this shot. Good composition and color. I like the complete blurring of the petals in the top left of the shot.

8 - Very nice. Great colors. For me, I want to say I would like it 'closer' or more tightly cropped, but then I do like the 'scope' of that cone on the echinacea. I think it would be difficult to get all of that in focus like you have the top part AND keep the bee and top in the same focus, right? The background is also very nice.

If the subject was sharp it would help this pic tremendously.
