Diagonal & Linearby tomzinhoComment: Awesome composition and great liines on all levels. Super abstract cause I have to ask, what is it? Looks lig a roof/ceiling of something, but I cannot imagine what....though the color reminds me of a Euopean train station or market place as I saw something similar to this in Belfast. Cool shot and good luck! Message edited by author 2005-09-05 00:11:29. |

Dark & Light by Travis99Comment: Well the Dark and Light title got used quite a bit in this challenge, but I think this is one of the best of them. Love the lighting of the road and how it leads you right through the image. Awesome toning with a combo of sepia and BW, very effective. Nothing is blown out so I gues you use an ND? What ever you did you did it quite well. Great work on this and good luck! |

Dark and Lightby coolharComment: Absolutely beautiful....well there's another one that will knock mine of the front page for sure! Great capture, lighting, DOF and Excellent composition. 'Bout as perfect as you can get...the tear in the right Butterfly's wing is hardly your fault and I am sort of glad to see that you did not fix it. I find it only a minor distraction if I dwell on it....which I can't because the rest of the image is just so fine. Can't think of a thing I would change. Much good luck with this one. 10!! |

Dock & Lampsby pinbokeshattaComment: Looks lik it could use a CCW rotation. Grant it you might have rotated CW to have the poles straight, but the horizon is off. Might have a good idea to use some distortion correction if you had it. Like the perspective and the great receding line of the lights. Message edited by author 2005-09-05 10:26:24. |

Demonic Laughterby mrorange002Comment: Awesome and the pic is very apt for its title! Love the red and the very demonic looking yellow eyes.Tow nits: A hot pixel or something at the bottom of the beard and I would have done away with the bit of light on the lower mid right side behind the head...has me wondering what might be going on back there....of course if that was your intent, then you were successful. Great shot and good luck! |

Dawn Light (St Michael's Mount) by FalcComment: Very nice long exposure, great lighting and composition. Mont St.Michel is one of my favorite places in the world and I actually got to go there once...love to go back someday. Good Luck! |
