Well, bottoms up. Nice catch. Good colors and contrast and not over-saturated. Focus is good. Catchlight in the eyes is missing, this can be done with fill flash and that would have helped ballance the light with this shot. As it is the whites are a bit blown out.

Nice close-up/portrait shot. good colors and contrast and something most other bird shots are missing and that is a nice catchlight in the eye.Focus is good on the eye right whee it nees to be. The best I've seen so far, but also the first domesticated shot I've seen.

Goos action shot on this duck. Contrast is a little too high as it blows out detail in the whites, but otherwise a good shot with nice saturation, composition and colors.

decent shot of a moving bird. Focus is acceptable, dof OK, colors and contrast ok. But the tree really draws the eye off to the left. A more even background, eiother all tree or all sky would have improved this otherwise nice shot.

The feather detail in the whites are blown out with too much contrast or overexposure. The focus is a little soft. It would also look better in landscape instead of portrait because the subjet is long not tall.

This is exactly how cardinals in my area act too. They hide in the bushes. He is a little on the soft focused side, and the branches look like they have been sharpened too much. Your colors and saturation are perfect and yor composition is wonderful.

It's unfortunate that we can see the pattern of the fence in the background. Also, the feathers are lacking in detail from overexposure or too much contrast or a little of both. It's much too bright.

I like to look at photo's and ask what the main character is. In this shot the main character sems to be the long hillside that dominates the center of the photo. I would define this as a scenic shot that has a few geese in it, I would not say it's about the geese at all.

Kind of a high key bird shot action shot. great idea, good composition. I would prefer to see them a little sharper by using a faster shutter speed and of course the slice of bread really ruins the shot ( I know it's part of the title but still ).

I love watching these little guys go up and down the trunks. This shot is very out of focus, plus the background is too bright and the colors in the background detract from the bird and last of all he is too small in the frame.
