Will the water droplet land on the chickadee?! Stay tuned!by
snafflesComment: OVEREDITED! You rudely asked for more so here you go.
To start with, it appears obvious to me the image was way to soft in original form. The focal point was clearly on the bird seed and not on the bird. To compensate for the poor exposure it appears you did anything and everything possible to bring about some focus, but clearly destroyed the feel of the image in the process.
Now, let's talk about overall composition. The image is unbalanced. It is weighted to the left third, with very little counterbalance to the right. In short, it made me feel like I had to fall to the left to view it. Instead of a vertical shot, you might find a horizontal rendition more appealing to the eye.
Finally, let's look at how intensely your blurred the background. The same effect, in a more pleasing to they eye manner, could be achieved with the camera.
In conclusion, when voting on an image I look for feeling. Does the image invoke a feeling? Your image made me ill. Would I be tempted to pick up an image if I viewed it at a store? Your's would never feel the touch of my fingers. Would I be moved to purchase the image? In your case, absolutely not.
Nothing personal, but this image is not good work product.
