very nicely composed. great use of negative space. I like how the eye is draw right to the torch flame. too much glare on the pepper, though.

from a photo standpoint, I don't think this is much more than a snapshot, but what a wonderfully poignant and tender moment you have captured. She looks wonderf ully excited to take on a new challenge in life, but I suspect it was quite difficult for you to let go... great interpretation of the challenge.

I like the idea, but it doesn't seem realistic that in a moment of self pity and thoughts of suicide, you would type "why didn't you love me" on your laptop screen. seems like a very timid response.

great lighting, but I would have cropped the light out of the image or composed it such that it was not in frame.

a nicely composed portrait, but pretty dull in the tones. good use of negative space, but the blacks could be darker and the light areas brighter to give this more impact.

great job capturing a feeling of exhuberence. I like the shot from the back of the subject and the leading lines of the path. I think there is a lot of background clutter overpowering the subject, though.

I like the image and the lighting a lot. the shallow DOF also adds to the idea that she is letting go of all her cares as she fades into the comfort of the bath. The candlestick behind her head is distrcating though.

stunning portrait. she draws you right in with her eyes. I like the angle of her pose. There is a distracting hair running across her cheek and chin and over her chest, though. 8
