Fragileby JudiComment: This is "horrible" I cant describe it otherwise. Photographically speaking its good and Your angle is perfect and the story being told here is very strong...but maybe to strong. Especially with the man standing their with back to us. I think the picture will tell the story even without him in the frame. I have to be objective in scoring here and not let my personal impressions/feelings of this overrule the truth of it all. 8 |

Irisby ErikVComment: Very nice. Love this and it makes me stare and stare and stare. The flash doe sbother a bit in the black but nothing you can do about that. It's just amazing looking at this and trying to understand how this works. 8 |

Dreamscapeby prperoldComment: Hey Philip. I had to smile when I saw the shot and even more so reading the peoples guessing down below. So many people knowing you by now is a testimony to your work. Great shot. Did not vote or comment on this challenge but did see it during voting and it was a no brainer. Keep it up! |

When the going gets tough the wise find the game in it by UrfaKComment: When I saw this pic....I knew it would do well. It captured my heart. kids dont play any more in the modern world..They collect dust behind computers and electronic games. They have become adults...Never content with what they have always looking at what they dont have or still want. Kids dont look at the obstacles. They create opportunities. Im so glad you could have fun with them. |

I didn't do it...honest!by JudiComment: LOL. Last person Im sure that anybody would accuse of breaking that window friend. Its a very good photo and I like it but it really does not fit to well with teh Challenge theme. Sure..the window is broken but your damsel really is the main subject here and im sure she still works well (meant in a good way) I would crop a bit at the top as well.
The pointed glass all going to her heart works great. If she had a sad face...even a tear - really heartbroken..I would give this a ribbon. Still a 7 and whish I could give this more. So much missed of an opportunity I havent seen in a long time. |

Oh. Again . . . ?by InsomniacComment: I dont know whether to laugh at this pic or not. Ill take it in a good spirit and then it truly is hilarious...But be carefull out there for the voters who could be nasty and might take it personal....and propably will.
Photography wise I believe A more flattering light representing a true bedroom scene would have been better...Then again this lighting could very well contribute to the coldness/starkness and the sad but funny scene. Well, good luck anyway - 7 from me |

Song Title: OLD by andrewtComment: Congrats on a stunning portrait. His whole life seems to be written all over his face. Def 1 in 7B + an old man at that. You nailed it in two challenges which further testifies to how well you captured the emotions of this human being Message edited by author 2010-01-13 06:02:55. |

Peace , Like a river ran through the city long past the midnight curfewby TLL061Comment: Fitting pic with the song and a beautifull one at that. The only thing that comes to my mind is that this river looks rather murky and not peacefull and with advanced editing being available it would have been interesting to see what the river would have looked like with an more appealing colour. Still a personal preference and does not change my vote scale. 8 |
