Tree Dividedby brownsmComment: As much as I love infrared, I always see the photoshop version. I think it was a good decision to leave the color channels alone. This is a great shot |

Oxbow Bendby spydrComment: I love the tetons. But I've seen this shot maybe two hundred times. Go for a different angle--Lake Solitude is an amazing hike, the lake itself is worthy of a blue ribbon. The hike down offers a spectacular vew of the backside of Grand Teton that no one ever sees. There are amazing views from South Teton. Likewise, the hike from the summit of Grand Targhee is -spectacular-
Mount Moran is so boring, nevertheless a view from a road turnout that is plastered over countless postcards and websites. |

Battlefront of Global Warmingby EssAreDubyaComment: First off, I love glaciers. Thank you for shooting them; they'll be gone much too soon. However, I have some critiques of this image.
I think this shot would've improved drastically if you had come back when the lighting was less intense. Glaciers loose their majesty when the light is so intense that it makes them a white snowy mass. In morning or evening light, with a longer exposure, you pick up that gorgeous refracted blue from the glacier, which really speaks to its age and majesty. However, if your heart is set on shooting in bright light, a polarizing filter would have helped a great deal.
Likewise, glacial water has an amazing turquoise color from the glacial silica suspended in the water. I'm not surprised that you don't see it at this angle--you're a little too low. Move up the hill a ways and show off that water! |

Sunsetby zxaarComment: Judging by where the sun is off the horizon, this looks more like late afternoon to me...but the colors are brilliant! |

Life Linesby PhotoRynoComment: I like this shot, but part of me is tired of seeing old wrinkly people with a title that plays on their current dermatological state. Then again, his expression is great!--8 |

Soft Babyby maxlevayComment: This looks very plastic; the lack of texture on the skin is what does the image in, imho. |

No Focusby hammersamComment: Been there, done that...sadly. This is a great and really creative idea. |
