Frosted Leavesby HipychikComment: I like this and the level of detail - but how about a little curves to bring out the mid tones?? |

Bottles on a Shelfby BAMartinComment: this is a wonderful shot with great textures. my only "nit pick" is that it seems tilted. I'd suggest either making one of the vertical lines in the wall vertical, orthe right cabinet edge vertical. I think making the panel edge vertical would be best. ( of course all is imo). |

last duckby Prime_TimeComment: interesting reflections. however, as a "bird shot lover", the blown out whites in the coot's bill is bothersome. (not that getting it is easy - that's what makes bird photography such a challenge, particularly a dark bird with hot white feathers or bills). hope this doesn't offend, but I know people will drop points in challenges if details like this are overexposed. 608270by undieyatchComment: nice reed and water shot. I shoot these sometimes myself and know that processing is a challenge - ie to get enough contrast for interest without overdoing it. This seems a little too contrasty for my tastes (which are probably too subdued). I know this is personal preference but I wonder if you tried less contrast but increasing the blacks using the levels slider. LG |
