Technically this shot is just fine, but I feel that I need something to focus on to keep from getting lost in the details. It would make a good big image, but is difficult to enjoy looking at the details at this size. |

I love your strong, contrasty shots. The grass in the foreground looks almost like strips of metal. |

Like the BW and the play of textures. Not sure about the contrast; I suspect all was brighter than the photo conveys. Difficult to judge this sort of picture at this size - a general difficulty at DPC - both for shooting and preparing and for critiquing. |

Such a famliar shot. I like it. Not sure about the light, it's not very inspiring. |

nice reed and water shot. I shoot these sometimes myself and know that processing is a challenge - ie to get enough contrast for interest without overdoing it. This seems a little too contrasty for my tastes (which are probably too subdued). I know this is personal preference but I wonder if you tried less contrast but increasing the blacks using the levels slider. LG |

Excellent use of B&W to reinforce the bleakness of the composition. Very nice clarity and sharpness adds to the mood. |
