The Girl and the Sea by LevTComment: Hey, I thought this DPL thing was a friendly contest? You just had to drop the hammer on the first playoff, didn't ya? ;-) awesome finish! |

You know what, I was too busy admiring the other parts of the shot I didn't even notice that. With this type of shot, you almost don't even need any sharpening at all. In fact, I'd probably mask over the clouds to leave the sharpening which would help emphasize the grain a little more and remove all sharpening from the boats and water.
But as you can see, the consensus is unanimous on this one. :-) |

Michelle's boatsby MelethiaComment: Oh, and if anybody says it is tilted, smack 'em. The land is creating the tilted illusion. |

Michelle's boatsby MelethiaComment: YES YES YES. I love how the grain from the sky meets the hill. It almost looks like a rain storm passing over from the sun's rays. Stop the editing and submit! |

Foucault Pendulumby bspurgeonComment: For any other challenge, I'd say sure, go for it. But since it's for the playoffs, I'd have to nix it. Even with your description, I'm hard pressed to see the LE and I'm sure the voters would be happy to score it low since it's not readily apparent. |

City with a Viewby CutterComment: So is your "city" Dillon, Frisco, or Breck?(all represented in shot) I used to live up off Baldy Rd. in Breck. Obviously you converted the water to green. ;-) |
