Good idea, great shot, superb processing. A well deserved ribbon, congratulations!

The low votes are probably again from people who think they're answering the question "Do you think people should take drugs?" instead of "Do you think this is a good photograph that fits the challenge?" with their votes. I wish they left comments to at least explain why they vote the way they do.

Very cool light. However, in this case here, I find the people in the picture distracting. In my opinion, the shot would have been more beautiful without them.

I think I've seen something like this before here on DPC. What does the DPC etiquette say when it comes to copying others' ideas (except in "Deja vu" challenges)? (Or was it originally yours?) I honestly don't know, it might be encouraged or frowned upon.

I'll start a forum thread to ask about this, just out of curiosity. I'd like to emphasize that although your image triggered the question, the thread is not meant to be about your picture. (I'm saying this because my intentions have been misinterpreted before in a similar situation.)

Seems a bit skew to me. Rotating the picture slightly clockwise would fix this. Otherwise very nice.

Wow, wow, wow! Looks like a scene out of a movie (and not just because of the black borders)! I like the shallow DOF. I like the expression (this guy is damn serious!). I like the lighting. I like the background that tells us where this might be taking place. What did you do to the colors to make them seem movie-like?

Great job. I hope it does well. 10.

I like composition and lighting, but the position of the right arm does not look very natural (Could you hold it like this while sleeping? Was this position chosen to keep the boob visible?) and the picture is a bit pixelated (it's a pity).

Like it, seems mysterious. A "low-tech" house in the middle of nowhere with a huge high-tech satellite dish on the roof. What might be going on here?
