Surreal Skylineby GeneralEComment: I don't like the colors, but can't take my eyes off the composition (partly because of the colors). Potential candidate for hanging in a modern art gallery. I'll vote 7 for orginiality and impact, but predict a lower end result in the DPC enviroment. Hope your notes tell more about your intent. |

Silent Sunriseby makarComment: Nice color on the water. Might consider cropping out upper sky to elimiate the contrail and give more prominence to the water and boat. |

Heatherby NobodyComment: Bright white blouse on shoulder draws eye away from the face, where shadows confuse the issue. On the other hand, the face looks plastic to the extent that I wonder if this is a real person or a clothing mannequin. I've seen that look in live people, so I won't blame it on post processing (unless you confess), but either way the end result is far from beauty. |

Geometric Passageby NeilComment: Although software can correct for wide lens distortion, the effect is rather fun in this image. |

Through The Mesa Archby ZeusComment: Good preservation of detail in the dark rocks at the bottom. Red rock country makes life difficult with range of brightness often exceeding sensor capability. |

Red Roseby FarmrComment: Enjoyable simplicity and symmetry. Level of detail appreciated along with the gradual fade out of the stem. |

châtelaineby skewsmeComment: Good for you to capture the wall, door, peeling pain, and reflected image of dance and then to enter this rich image rather than any more direct photos of the woman. It takes a strong photographer to look away from an obvious "main subject" and find such a visually captivating alternative. |

Hanging On To Traditionsby HipychikComment: Black and white with subtle color tone works well here. Wonderful capture expressive of considerable personality among the subjects. |

Striking a poseby BudyaComment: Sharply focused on the eyes with nice curve of green against black. Wish for just a little more depth of field. Good job overall. |
