that's really nice. i tried to take pics from an airplane but they didn't come out well so i didn't enter. i'm not sure why you didn't crop out the small bit of engine. i find it a little distracting and the cloud formations are so lovely. i think without the engine it would look as if you took the photo from atop another cloud floating by. /8

i'm thinking your subject is supposed to be seeing the unseen (santa), but your title and her expression suggests to me that she isn't seeing him so i'm not real sure of what the intent is with this photo.

or maybe she's unseen because she's hiding but i'm not really sure i can tell if that's it either.

i think i see what you're getting at. people don't see the handlers because they are focused on the balloon thing. however, i'm drawn to the same in the photo and would still not really notice them except for your title telling me to. if there had been some way that you could have made the handlers more the central focus of the shot and still see the object being handled....
what a freaky float, btw!
