Go Tucker, Go!by hughletherenComment: Cute doggie! Great action shot. My only complaint is the cropping. It could probably be cropped just a little bit more on the bottom but otherwise a great image. |

Bloomby sleekrComment: Vivid colors and nice composition. However, the focus seems a bit off only around the edges. I would have voted higher if the whole plant was in sharp focus. |

You're the Oneby femyers01Comment: Main subject is too centered in this image. Lighting is a bit harsh especially for a close-up/macro. The leaf in the upper right is distracting because it's large and covers up part of the flower which, seems to me, is the main subject of this image. |

Portrait Studyby jonpinkComment: Nicely framed, good detail in the hair and other facial features and great skin tones. No annoying bright spots inherent with built-in flashes; it has a very warm feel. One think I might have done differently but does not detract from my score: border color. Since there is so much black in the image, I probably would have used a lighter/warmer border color vs black. Something to highlight the skin tones or even the color of the outfit but it would have to be thin as not to overpower the rest of the photograph. 9. |

THAWby ellamayComment: This is a great macro shot: great DOF, amazing detail and to top it off: nice flare on the water drop. But there is one major and one minor flaw: I can see your reflection in the water drop (major) and it could have been cropped a bit tighter on the left side (minor). However, you did a good job! |

The Alleyby ToddhComment: Nicely done! The street lighting gives enough information so you can see details of the brick wall and of the faded sign for hardware. Excellent job! 10 |

Desklight Coverplate Abstractby wingyComment: This image works very well in b/w. Due to the angles and other factors/properties of the coverplate itself, you can see multiple repeating patterns and I really like that. If I were to do this again (or you) I think splashes of color here and there would be very interesting. And one more minor issue: levels. It's hard to tell with the tight pattern how white those lines really are but they look a bit flat to me. Overall great image! |

A cold wet winterby NatatorComment: Great use of negative space. It really makes you focus on the subject. Details of the skin and water are excellent! Great shot! |

Bitter Coldby SonifoComment: That's one of the better duotone shots I've seen. Very sharp focus and subject matter is good, as well. The fur (?) coat shows lots of detail. Nice job! 10! |

Hang 10by shareinncComment: Nice action shot and the look of determination on the surfer is great. I might have cropped the bottom a bit closer, however, so the bottom edge would be just below the lowest portion of white spray under the surfboard. Great focus and composition! |
