Great shot - but this is not hanging 10!

Nice motion capture - I like how the white surf is frozen. Lovely colour in the water. Not so keen on position of surfer - from this angle the lower part of his body is hidden such that the overall "shape" doesn't look right. I also think the angle of the sun to his face means it's in too much shadow. Composition feels a touch unbalanced, I'd prefer more space above him and a touch less to his left so he's more off centred but the distance between the edges of the top, left and bottom frames from him are about equal. If that doesn't make sense let me know, it's past my bed time!

Lovely action shot, especially the water.

crop it so the surfer is to the left more and it will look better.

Nice motion capture. Good job on the exposure and composition. I'd have dodged the face though.

Not a bad shot, but this pose (not meaning that it was posed of course, just refering to the positioning of the main subject) seems a little bit awkward, and I could be wrong but I get the feeling that if you shot for a while there'd be other more appealing body positions to choose from. But like I said, I could be wrong.

Nice action shot and the look of determination on the surfer is great. I might have cropped the bottom a bit closer, however, so the bottom edge would be just below the lowest portion of white spray under the surfboard. Great focus and composition!
