Portrait of a Cowby SammieComment: I really like this cow. He has an emotive expression. I do wish you had cropped out the crooked horizon line, helping the eye to be focused on the subject. I do like the blur of the barbed wire in the front and back nice use of DOF. I also like the 3 blurred cows on the right. pulls your eye in a diagonal way. |

"Nevermore"by zeuszenComment: I like the risque composition of this shot, obviously deliberate. Background certainly adds a degree of ominous-ness (i know not a word) to this already dark and brooding creature. Your rendering captures the darkness of the crow and his reputation for being a kind of 'bad guy'.
I also like the texture on his beak and light in his eye. By the way how can you tell the male from female crow? |

Air Freshnikovaby aznymComment: greetings from the CC, well, hmm you certainly 'found' a face and made it look real with the cloth, the technical problems are the white areas are overexposed, and it is not sharp. However I am sure that these are intentional and I think they actually serve to enhance your shot. Great title, suits this woman well.
Not the kind of shot that would do well on dpc, but not the less a creative and well done interpretation of the challenge topic.

Mother Nature's Angerby Joey LawrenceComment: greetings from the CC, this shot certainly has a artsy feel, would like to see it in B &W , it also reminds my of munsch's SCREAM. I like the backlighting and use of diagonal composition of the leaf, also has nice textures and details, lots of elements to hold interest. well done, my biggest criticism is I find the color of the leaf distracting from the rest of the image. I think in BW it would be more serious and eerie withstronger impact. |

Unhappy Staplerby thommoComment: greetings from the CC,
My criticism would be of the border I find it distracting to the image. I also think a slightly tighter crop on the top may have helped to focus the eye a bit more to the 'face'. Nice use of diagonal line.
Would be curious how it would look on black background to make a more dramatic feel.
just my thoughts
