Good use of depth of field here, it really makes your shot, i like the angle you shot from too, nice green color in the grass too.

My thought is that if you are going to crop the bottom of the legs off, you may have kept cropping and lost the building, or shot in portrait mode to blur background. Your shot is not overexposed, but my preference would be to see it slightly darker just to see if it brings out more detail. Another thought would be keep in mind the 1/3 2/3 rule. Though actually this shot (because of the boot) does n't appear to centered. just some thoughts (i am trying to comment on all the shots this round).

I am guessong by your title there is a rose there, but to be honest I cant see it very well, I do like the idea of a monotone detail though.

I like the 'ball' but I find the building on the bottom a bit distracting, I am not sure that it adds much to your shot. The clouds are nice and lighting is good.

Well, despite there is nothing 'hugely exciting' in this shot, i think you did a fairly good job on it the composition is good, couple little overexposed parts though lighting wise.

Well, my more technical impressions are that there is a lot of 'stuff' in the background which is distracting (i.e. car, garbage cans ect) Though my impression is this is more for fun than a serious shot.
