Cardinalby cmeierComment: Hi Chris,
First did you climb the tree to get the picture? :p I haven't seen Cardinal before but she is so beautiful. The color is so vibrant, I guess you can spot this bird from a mile away. The DOF is also perfect, but have you experiment cropping the left part of the image? I feel the left side is a little bit distracting. Unless if the bird is facing the other direction. His eyes need more room to go on the right side than on the left. I hope you know what I meant lol. Overall this is a very beautiful photo. Thank you for sharing it with us. |

Frozen Beachby acoppolaComment: Amazing color and composition. I love how you frame the log. I can see the frozen ice from the light reflected by the lake water. Very beautiful ^.^ |

Day 13 Comfortby jmritzComment: I really understand you feeling ;_; I bought sneakers from Japan almost 10 years ago... somehow they feel too small for my feet, but I still love them. I might have to make a glass display for them. Great photograph for personal stuff Jmritz. |

Kassieby rexComment: I always love a natural pose with natural smile portrait. You maintained the details very well. Very lovely composition too. One little tiny winny thing: Maybe you can sharpen or add more contrast on her eyes ^.~ She has beautiful eyes indeed. |

sunset2.jpgby MeouxComment: Thank you Givey,
Yes this is straight from a single image. I only did a little bit color adjustment and sharpening. I did experiment with and without the ND 0.9... somehow I found the one using ND produces more details ( around the middle part of the image). |
