Catching Airby QuigleyComment: Well captured action shot, looks like he is riding the frame of the picture. But I think it focus deapth is to deep as the background is clearly visible. A larger aperature would have made the rider pop out more. The tree is also distracting when placed right behind the rider. |

Secret Fallsby socalsteveComment: This shot is a nice one with a well constructed composition. But with a little more attetion to details it can be made better. The highlighted parts where the sun shines is distracting, takin long exposures in sunlight is diffucult. An overcast day or late in the aftenoon is usually better for these kind of shots.
The foreground leaves ar out of focus due to lack of DOF. Focusing closer to the foreground, about 1/3 into the picture would have created deeper DOF. |
