What a beautiful dog. I think the dark face may have caused you some issue with exposure. A 1/2 stop or so more I think would make an improvement by bringing out more detail in the face and eyes.

Even with the free version you can get results without the watermark.

Just use the steps identified in the popup window when opening the program.

From the HDR menu choose generate. When that's done, from the same menu, choose tone mapping. Only if you save the generated HDR and then open it again for tone mapping will you get the watermark.

Nice idea to try and balance the rock in the upper right with the person. However, I think it would work better if the person were more in the lower left corner.

The HDR affect seems a bit over done as the rocks in the foreground appear a bit cartoonish.
