the sun in the shellby dkComment: Love the chosen DOF. You've left just enough detail in the background to give context to the image. Wonderful lighting on the shell. My only beef is the apparent red colour cast. |

SnowEyesby -MK-Comment: Though the eye is sharp I feel this image would work better as a proper pet portrait using the same composition. (Deeper DOF) |

Frozen !!by akulkarniComment: Good idea to use the icicles in the foreground however I feel a slightly deeper DOF is needed and a little more light on the icicles is needed. The bright areas in the background keep drawing me away from the main subject. |

The Gullby GoboltsComment: Interesting colours on the Gull (due to lighting). I think to isolate the bird better the DOF needs to be shallower. The current background feels a little to busy. |

PassMeTheBallby hkharmaComment: Good idea and I think the DOF is about right though maybe just a tad more to get the expression on the OOF person's face. Also, the image seems a bit under exposed. |

The Consequences Of Fallingby BradComment: Very nice abstract. The colours are very calming. The DOF works well with the subject however the bubble needs to be a bit sharper. |

Graveyard Gooseberriesby labudsComment: The toadstools and the berries make a nice combination however the foreground berries are distracting (to me). The DOF is perfect though for the ones in the background. Good shaped definition and colour. |

Tulipby swinnie11Comment: I like how the center looks like a sunburst however I feel the DOF is too shallow as some of the stamen tips are OOF and the center piece is out of focus though thats not as bothersome as the former. |
