Great Egretby DennisFComment: Good effort capturing the egret with all the gold glow in the water. The gold seems to overpower the egret's head. A polarizing filter may of helped. |

Up Close and Horse-nalby erin_m02Comment: Your main subject is possibly a bit too central. A couple of steps to the left may have given you a better perspective. |

Turtleby john22132Comment: The turtle appears to be overexposed. Spot metering on the shell might have helped. |

LITTLE WATER SNAKE WITH A RED TONGUEby basia03Comment: Unfortunately the snake is overexposed and out of focus. To correct this (I assume the snake was moving) use a faster shutter speed and pan if you have to to keep the snake in the frame. Otherwise, the composition for this image works. |

Chameleonby louie cComment: This is a good idea for a photo. Unfortunately the flash overexposed your friend's prey. |

Owinby mar3148Comment: This image seems to be slightly underexposed. Owin looks a little grey rather than white. Trying exposure compensation on the plus side might help. |

Goose Chaseby QuadrajetComment: Ready, set, go. I like the motion blur. Due to the sense of motion a little more space in front of the goose might add to the impact of this image. |

Bug Luvby kblmComment: The focus doesn't seem to be in the right place. The ladybugs are out of focus but the leaf above them is. |

Morning Swanby sselmanComment: I like the idea of this picture and the fact that you took it in sepia.
The focus seems to be in the middle of the water behind the swans and the horizon is a little crooked. |

Bird o Logby jgillardComment: Your subject should possibly be a little larger to counteract the impact of the rest of the scene. Another option would be to limit the depth of field so only the bird is in focus. |
