| I like the tones here, and the textures. The bird is cute but the eyes aren't visible. I like this composition very much. |

| the sweep of the lines is nice; although it's fairly monochromatic, I think it works with the round little bird as the focal point. if the background could be thrown out a little, even better. |

| Excellant framing. The zig-zag log wall and stone background gets the most out of making the sparrow look good. You got a lot of milage out of what might have been a boring subject (the bird) |

| I find that the interesting lines and textures of the wooden fence and masonry overwhelm the little bird which is partly covered in shadow and lacks the intricate detail of the other larger and more interesting elements. Perhaps a tighter shot of the bird would have worked better. |

| It's great to see how stone and wood blends into almost one color in this photograph, the bird almost appears to be in camouflage. The crop is a bit too large for my taste. |

| Perhaps you might have zoomed in a little on the bird here, to make it more the subject of the pic. It seems to get a little lost here, especially with the similar colours around it. It's a lovely pic but the theme gets lost a little. |

| Your subject should possibly be a little larger to counteract the impact of the rest of the scene. Another option would be to limit the depth of field so only the bird is in focus. |

| The bird is almost incidental to the logs and wall here, and its mostly in shade. Its also not doing anything, which would really help the picture along. |

| Nice use at leading lines and thirds. My only change would be to crop out that top dirt area and let the top flat stones be the top edge. Really nice photo :) |
