Very nice picture and DOF. Very appropriate and good lighting. It's got a mysterious feel to it. You really have all 4 elements here, with the obvious earth and water, along with the air pointed out with the mist and the fire from the rising sun.

Intense eyes and great texture. I'll be interested to see how you did this one. Great picture, but the only problem is I don't see the four elements. I even looked up Golem in Wikipedia and didn't see a match there, other than maybe earth, though I found out it isn't something from Lord of the Rings. Despite that I am giving it one of my higher scores based on the uniqueness of it.

I like the totally black background and the reflection in the silver/chrome. Good lighting and POV. It seems to me it may be lacking some sharpness.

I really like that most of the lock is the same color as the background, and only the reflections show up.

Day 2 - Daughter's Point Shoes

I agree a vertical format would be more pleasing, as long as you didn't clip the tie on the left. It all seems a bit soft focus. I like the well worn shoes that imply experience. I like the flashlight back-lighting, but think a bit of brightening in front would help.
