This didn't turn out like I'd hoped - my vision was stone/rock/mud texture on a human face. Apparently projecting an image onto a face does not produce very high quality results.

So I had to work this one a bit in PP, and in the end I was happy with it. I don't think it's DPC-friendly, I bet it'll score sub-5, but I don't care. I like it.

Selective shaprening, curves, hue/sat, USM, various dodging/burning, yadda, yadda, and voila. =)

--------

Huge thanks for the favorite, and to those who actually look up what a Golem was. Cheers!

"In Norse mythology, a clay giant, built to help the troll Hrungnir in a battle with Thor." I googled it - very creative, very cool.

Intense eyes and great texture. I'll be interested to see how you did this one. Great picture, but the only problem is I don't see the four elements. I even looked up Golem in Wikipedia and didn't see a match there, other than maybe earth, though I found out it isn't something from Lord of the Rings. Despite that I am giving it one of my higher scores based on the uniqueness of it.

Very creative - well done - How did you do that in advanced editing - it´s just to the edge of the rule isn´t it

I really like the PP or whatever was done on this. Not sure how you did it, but I will assume it is legal! :) Very creative. 8

Is this Earth? Air? Fire? Water? A portrait with a grunge texture layer? I don't know? More of earth if anything with the cracks and kind of dirt feel. Dirt as in Dirt, not saying it is dirt all though if it is it is good dirt.............well you know what I'm saying right. Right. Am I right, or am I right, or am I right. Right. Nice processing!
