Day 1: Rainy Lotby RebeccaComment: Ooh, nice crisp abstract. I like it. The few drops on the water in contrast to the angular curbs really make it. |

Day 1by walrus451Comment: Great portrait - almost a defiant expression, which is what you should see at that age! I always try to come up with a constructive criticism, but can't think of one - that's a good thing, I guess! |

Spring's First Budby SpizzerComment: I'm amazed this didn't do better; much better, in fact. Don't sweat it - it's a tremendous pic. |

one/thirtyby UNCLEBROComment: I like this a lot. I go bck and forth on whether you should have cropped out the frame, especially as it's only on 3 sides. but a really cool shot nonetheless. |

A Journey Beginsby ElaineComment: It doees give the illusion - almost perfectly. There's the little bit of blur in the "fluff" that even suggests motion blur. Very impressive - one of my favorites so far! |

I think the noise works. |

chainby doc_gonzoComment: This is great, wonderful tonal range and texture. Non-standard composition works well. I wish the whole chain were in focus; that's my only complaint. |

__by undieyatchComment: Very pretty, nice bokeh; I'd like it (even) more if the flower were whiter; you're only using about 1/2 of the available tones. |

Day 1by eamurdockComment: Since people seemed to want to see it, here it is in straight B&W (just a quick desat of this image, not a reprocess)
I feel like the duotone warms an otherwise very cold image; that's why I used it. |
