...when you finally reappear at the place where you came from...by raishComment: Hmm... I love this pic - it's really beautiful. But I really don't think it meets the challenge - to me it's not enough that some lines coverge, but that parallel lines converge as they go to infinity - that's not what's happening here. I expect you predicted some of these responses, though.
That said, it's really a marvelous picture; great color and DOF, and the texture of the veins is great. |

My favourite vanishing point placeby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: This was in the free study, wasn't it? I remember really liking it; I think I even commented. I'll go check after I've voted!
Anyway, this is a very compelling space; the soft arches are wonderfully offset by the hard concrete and railings, wonderful lines and shadows. I'm not certain the image is improved by the figure being there; I almost prefer the space on it's own - but I understand why you went with it.

Vanish into The Darknessby Lone_WolfComment: Interesting interpretation of the challenge; nice to see something different (I did one of the interminable train-track shots).
I think the lighting lets you down pretty seriously here, and ends up leaving a pretty snapshottish effect; it's just pretty flat - I can't tell if you used on-camera flash or (I suspect) natural lighting but either way it's from directly behind you, so you lose the texture. The dramatic cave shots I think of tend to have several lights hidden in the foreground to accentuate the shapes in the cave. |

In the Gardenby talmyComment: focus is a bit soft, and the colors are not compelling - would do better to shoot this at sunrise or sunset. |

Point of Conversionby Perfect-CalamityComment: This meets the challenge, but not much more...there's not much to look at. As the road leaves the side of the picture it doesn't lead my eye anywhere; the little clump of vegetation isn't very interesting but is very prominently placed.
I think the picture would be greatly improved if the camera were panned to the left about 20 degrees, so the road was entirely in the picture (though still on the once side) and the vegetation would then be serving to balance it visually, without trying to be the subject of the photo. |

moving picturesby SkipComment: Angle is very dynamic, lighting is good in and out of the bus; you've got posterization in the sky that hurts you a lot. |

Where Am I?by KYDPTComment: Where indeed? This looks like an old gelatin-silver print, both from the colors and the subject and composition. Very pretty. |

Double Vanishing Pointby plimComment: Cool location, but this shot really suffers from the lack of a subject - there's just a huge expanse of green. |
