this was inspired by ed's ways of living. it's still just an idea, though, unfinished at that.

i guess, given that i didn't shoot a railway or a finely-defined road or landscape, i'm lucky to have come away above 5...

Hey there from the Critique Club

Camera Work/Technical: Nice focus and great tonal range. You did lose some interest with the pixelated sky. Other than that, I like what you achieved here.

Lighting: Your lighting is strong. While there is a bit of a hot spot up in the sky, the remainder of the frame is nicely lit.

Composition/Content: I like the tilt you added here. While tilts aren't normally my preference, it really adds a feeling of movement to this capture.

My Opinion: Not bad, but the sky needed some work. Nice use of tilt and composition to make an interesting image.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide a critique on your entry,
Eric

I totally missed the vanishing point in this during the challenge. I kept looking to the farm on the left wondering if the fence was supposed to be the vanishing point and that didn't really do it. Then I wondered if there was some deeper philosophical point I was missing, like farms are vanishing, etc...

Never looked INSIDE the bus for it. Now I see it! :D

Too clever for your own good on this one Skip. :P

Quite a photo with a sense of desolation. For once, could not bring myself to vote on any of the photos in this challenge. Too many and too dispiriting. However, this is an inspiring one. Also, for me, interesting to see that lens in action.

You was robbed - you didn't get a Posthumous comment. I suggest you request one immediately! And very nice shot, both for this challenge and otherwise.

i love the gritty urban feel. however, i feel it should be slightly more centred. 9

I like it. I like the angle (which some will hate), I like the converging lines of the windowframe, and I like the farmland which reflects the type of face the woman has - she's of this country, it seems.

The sky doesn't look quite right and I don't think it meets the challenge very well, but what a wonderful composition!

Angle is very dynamic, lighting is good in and out of the bus; you've got posterization in the sky that hurts you a lot.

This one is very cool, a different approach to the train or tracks, or is it a bus? My eyes are drawn more to the farm, but I will give an 8 for a great shot.

I find the tilt unnerving to view.

interesting take on the challenge - the skewed perspective and the woman looking out the window tells an interesting story
