The light blooms and the moving car take away from it, but this is still pretty good. Good use of available light.

Look into the Light!

lots of noise, and camera shake.
Next time, I'd suggest turning down the ISO to eliminate noise, and using a tripod with the camera on a 2 second delay. That way your hands will be off the camera when the shutter opens and closes.

If you have the camera set on S or A, it tries to resolve any dark areas with detail that you may not be able to pull. Use the lowest ISO setting you can, and use the manual setting. This will go a long way to reducing the amount of noise you get.

I had to come back to this photo, not sure why.

Perhaps it was my lack of understanding of it. I still don't feel that I will raise my vote much higher, but it does draw me back for consideration. I suppose that on its own makes this photo worthy of a higher vote than my initial "2"

I'm still struggling with the lighting. I'm turned off by the blown out railing on the right side, and I am not a fan of the sunlight in the upper right corner. I do appreciate the simplicity of the whole thing, and the vertical lines of the fencing and the diagonals of the shadows and how they relate to one another. I get no message from the piece, but it is good in and of itself, but not grand.

I'll raise my vote to a 5.

looks cold...looks like she is about to get wiped out, too. Good timing.
I would have liked to see more white in the white caps, too.

I'm not a big fan of horticulture pics, but this is pleasant, it almost looks like film.
