Forgotten Playgroundby bluebullseyeComment: I'm completely bummed this picture did not place higher. I would gladly trade places with you, because I love this picture that much! And thanks for pointing out that it's not a B&W I totally missed the fairly obvious bits of colour. Can't wait to see what your next entry will be. |

Spring Thawby mariomelComment: Outside of this challenge, I personaly would crop this picture so that the water, and seagul are cut off. I'm not sure why but to me they detract from the excellent quality of the lower half of this photo. The two halves just don't seem to blend well. I also would'nt have gone with the white edge/frame. Overall I do like this picture and it meets the challenge, I'm just being overly picky. *grin* |

snow in springby miss parkerComment: I just kept looking and looking at this picture, and I can't help but think it looks like someone dropped a bucket of shaved ice on the poor flowers. *grin* I may be way off base, but it's looks like a badly faked setup. That doesn't effect my scoring as it meets the challenge and is a good picture, just wanted to comment on it. |

Jack Frost Felt Abit of a Prickby MartinComment: Great composition, love the unique sizing, it works with the subject. The only thing I think that detracts are the overy white patches on the top (sun spots?) and the overly large brown border. I think it would have been far more effective if the border was a bit more subtle. |

When Good Weather Goes Badby rickhd13Comment: Meets the "effects of weather" aspect of the challenge. The only thing I would have changed would have been the choice of sepia. I just don't think it fits. Other then that, I think it's a great job! |

Forgotten Playgroundby bluebullseyeComment: I really like this photo, unusual subject and I think you framed it perfectly. The fact that it's raining/rained, and hence the playground would be deserted, is conveyed well in the B&W choice. That's the strong feeling I get from this photo. I do wonder if it did actually rain or if you added the water, the only reason I ask is the placement of the drops. That's just a curiosity on my part. |

Cornerby bioshoreComment: This is a great photo.. but where is the weather in it? Perhaps I'm being a little too literal, but I don't believe it effectively meets the challenge. This could have been a studio shot, theres no way to tell if it was even taken outside (in weather) I'm willing to bet you would have got very high marks in the next challenge. |
