Soap Bubble by gyabanComment: Congratulations - yeah, the 60's are back and psychedelic is in again ...(yep, I am an old hippy) I hope you explain how you did this, it's just an amazing shot. The patterns and colors explode on the screen. |

Surface Tension by KarenNfldComment: Congratulations ... just amazing, I love the patterns - they are so complicated and yet this shot is somehow serene. |

EMP Tonesby cabaComment: I have to visit Seattle one of these days if you have skies like this ... I live about 90 miles south of San Fran and it's almost always just blue skies or fogged over .. no drama .. Beautiful textures on those buildings leading my eyes right up to that sky. Just lovely. |

Glimpseby MelethiaComment: I didn't get to commenting on as many shots as I would have liked to - I gave this a 7 - what a wonderful bunch of other shots too, esp the little girl with the camera, you caught her expression just perfectly as any of us who have had children can attest to with the slightly puzzled look filled with determination. What a day that must have been. Thanks so much for the gallery of the man who is Ben. |

untitledby 4trtoneComment: This shot has been given a final vote that I cannot in good conscience agree with. It is beautiful, well photographed, fascinating and well done. What were the voters thinking? Message edited by author 2011-07-22 23:40:09. |

disenchantedby bvyComment: I gave this a 7 as I truly loved the feeling of being a child and lying on the ground beneath a huge tree a squinting at it until it became a monster that would come alive and chase me almost near home and then devour me ... I was an unusual child I might mention .. I love what almost amounts to abstracts - enough of the original photo so one can come up with a real story that has substance but not enough to take away from the imaginary parts where childhood awake dreaming allows the unthinkable to take place .. this should have done better.. but I have said or thought that about many of the entries .. I admit I don't know a lot about Ben's style but enough to know that is closer to some of the higher voted shots. |

keeperby nixterComment: Ahh I wish I had gotten to this one .. such a sense of sadness (for me) as if many people were being forced to leave their homes .. or to enjoy the beach even though they are no longer young .. I don't know which one I like more .. but I enjoy them both. Thank you for such a vision and congratulations on placing in the top 10. |
