skyburbsby skewsmeComment: I like the houses on the hill and the realism the power line looming over them brings to this shot. The verdict is still out on the potential damage these power lines cause to the health of those living below them. I don't if you planned on making that kind of statment but I like it. I also like your pp on the houses, making them kind of glow with surreal colors. The birds in the sky, IMHO, don't add to your composition as they are too close together and just too out of focus. I like the sploches of color of the foilage in the hills. |

Dawn in Suburbia (Singapore)by andrewtComment: What a wonderful sky, interesting textures abound - love the colors in the buildings, they echo the colors in the sky - nicely done. |

"Every Day in Suburbia"by LydiaComment: Coming back to bump this shot.
I like your pp on this, you made what could have been a mundane shot interesting. |

Nature and usby Dr_TotoComment: I love the colors in this shot.. the deer is an added bonus.. might not be what everyone thinks suburbia is but the people in the wagon seal it for me (the cars in back help too). The beautiful fall foliage make a perfect background and your pp really brought out how the same colors are repeated throughout your composition. |

Antique Yard Saleby GiorgioComment: Great tonal range in this photo, your title suits this shot well. Your pp is excellent. The oof b/g is just the right degree of oof, it adds interest as you can still tell what each item is but they don't compete with the interesting items on the table. Hope that makes sense. You have the perfect blacks, perfect whites and all the shades of grays inbetween. Great job. |

Car in the Suburbsby GenrOneComment: At first I was a little taken back by the roof and then I saw that it added balance to your photo. I like how you processed this shot. The sky is great, I like how you kept detail in each house right back to the horizon. Has a 50's feeling minus the car. Nice job. |

Carbon Copies by jegerComment: My first thought was, Ohh I like this shot - my second thought was, I wouldn't want to live there though.. they are copies of each other.. what a good job you did in pp. The grass and the sky are the same shades of grays.. the textures are wonderful.. might be interesting if the house at the end wasn't there to see them meet.. overall a good composition that benefited from your post processing skills. |

Children at Playby tfarrell23Comment: I really like this photo. The sky holds my interest with it's shades of grays and the way it lights the sign at the bottom. I like the holes in the metal, leading the eye up to the very important message to slow down. A minor quibble might be to lighten the sign face a bit, but, it might add little to the overall composition. |

After Lunch [BW]by bvyComment: Tnun called it true.. it is better in B&W - it cements the similarities - the overexposed areas are fine to my eyes.. in your work the high contrast is your trademark.. but that is just my 2 cents and I am not an expert in any way shape or form.. but I really like this treatment on this shot. |
