I like this shot a lot. The composition, color, texture and light are well done and make this photograph beautiful ... beyond the tech details what captures my interest in this photo are the people and why they are there .. who are the people with their backs turned towards us? Is the guy in the uniform some kind of security. Then the sign, what does it say, or mean? And who's bike is that? I look at all these things in this image and wonder.. to me this makes a good photo, this sense of wonder.. well done .. bumping this up. |

For many people, but not for everyone... by WindtaleComment: Coming back to comment only:
Two seperate worlds - but everyone in each world seems happy ... it's a beautiful photo .. the tonal quality of the grays and the light are lovely.. the textures are wonderful .. I really like the dog and how it is the center of attention - well captured/well photographed slice of life! |

We Are All Actors on the Street's Stageby Five_SeatComment: Coming back to comment only:
I like how you made half the photograph the foreground because I think that's the most interesting part of the scene ... the shadows dominate the shot and the patterns of the grating are nice.. Since I like the foreground so much I would like to see a crop that eliminates the sun... I like the backlighting. |

Well photographed and an interesting take on the challenge.. the pp is well done... the crop works well, it's balanced ..When I look at this shot I do see the dark side that some children take. |

You Don't Know Meby JuliBocComment: coming back to comment only:
It looks like you shot her through glass from inside a building - and the pp makes her look like a mannequin which to me makes this photograph interesting - like the mannequin is outside in the "real world" and the real people are inside the store ... just my take on it.. fascintating shot - bumping up |
