I would never normally put in a photo with so much blur, but it seemed to suit the shadowy figures that I found lurking behind woolies. Beautiful young girls invading the sleeping quarters of a vagabond and committing their own guilty acts needed a more thoughtful touch. I don't expect a high score, but I'm sticking with this version as it means a lot to me.

I really like the processing on this. Nice job.

Coming back to comment only:

Well photographed and an interesting take on the challenge.. the pp is well done... the crop works well, it's balanced ..When I look at this shot I do see the dark side that some children take.

This is a very interesting image that is bad need of sharpening to help with the soft focus

This would be an amazing shot if it were a bit more in focus. As it is, I give it a 7 for the subject matter and the position of the girl caught in the act!

i like how the dark feel still comes through the soft processing. Sepia works well here. One of my top picks 9

Ah, are they sneaking a cigarette or something more devious and dangerous? I like the echoed forms of the girls.

I really enjoyed this photo. The line elements are spot on as the repeating forms, the two girls. Yet the two girls are slightly differing giving them a nice contrast. The newspapers and lighting all wonderful. Not a huge fan of the soft glow/bleach here but more of a personal thing. Highly rated.

Cant say much about this apart from I love it. Really gives a sense of sadness that life can be like that. Nicely framed in the doorway, contrast and shadows is very moody - 9

I understand smoking a bit of weed, that's fine and all - but did they really have to litter?! Dastardly!

I really do like this shot, I'm wondering what a crop right hand side would look like - getting rid of that metalic door, then again maybe it would take away from it?

The overall dark feeling is quite good.

Took me a second to see the smoke in her hand. Like many images in the challenge if we'd have one of the subjects looking at the camera so we could read the story in her face, it'd make for a stronger shot. A closer crop may have helped make this more engaging and a stronger shot.
