Grasshopper Nymphby MaryOComment: Mary, I would love to learn how to use extension tubes - maybe you could share a bit about what they are and how they work?
Another very delicate - even ethereal shot. I love the shades in the darkness, it's just a perfect canvas for the flowers. And you're right, he does need to grow into that antennae :) |

Fluidby Gordon_1Comment: Interesting and different from the normal drops of liquid usually posted on DP. Is it water or some thicker liquid? Pretty shades of colors in it. |

A little Webbyby KelliComment: I agree with Karen about the black, would help the composition if there were shades of deep greens as well - your photo makes a nice abstract. Foreground and b/g bokeh can really add to a shot. |

Sheep Teethby jomariComment: I love bones - I have a bunch of them. Teeth too are fascinating to me - they show wear pattern. The jaw bone of this creature is interesting. I clean my finds with peroxide and lemon and put them in the strangest places in my house. Thanks for posting something so out of the ordinary. |

Green damselfly, the secondby Pug-HComment: Like I said about another one of these flies, I can never get one - they take off the moment I get within 5 feet of them Lovely job on this guy .. I like the big catch light in it's eye and how you captured the hair so crisply on it's legs. |

Pusteblumeby bjoernComment: Love the little sparkles in it. Reminds me of being a kid again and blowing the seed pods and watching them fly like fairies. |

water drop blueby JustCareeComment: I have never tried to shot a water drop - terrified of them (grin) You are really making the most of your equipment. I was also going to mention that before I got my tripod and monopod I used a sandbag. You can put them on top of just about anything and they really do work in absorbing the motion of the camera. I still have one in my equipment. |

Fullscreen capture 2062010 65145 PMby GregoryBComment: Very nice - you do a great job on getting the detail in the fly, I noticed that on your hover fly shot on your front page. Thanks for posting your work details/flow - very helpful and very pretty photo. |
