I agree with Karen about the black, would help the composition if there were shades of deep greens as well - your photo makes a nice abstract. Foreground and b/g bokeh can really add to a shot. |

I'm intrigued as I have the same camera and lens. How did you do this one? The color is cool and I like the black vignetting. How did you achieve this? I'd love to try something similar in my garden. Thanks. |

I like the black border, and the way the needles extend into it. I would like to see a version with the focus on the closest needles, but overall I like the look of this. |

The black border is too overpowering for my tastes and I think you could use a bit more DOF but it's a cool abstract looking photo. |
