This looks like it has a slight tilt to me. Other than that- I love the idea. Very creative. The brick is an excellent canvas for the second shot. Might warrent a bit more sharpening. One of my favorites this challenge.

Cold, cold, cold. I'm gonna need hot chocolate here shortly. The appeal in this shot is the novelty of the ice. I really like the way it looks like frozen waves. (Which is really what it was) My question is, was the ice slightly grey to begin with or was it more on the white side? I'd also suggest cloning out the walkway to the tower to make the image stronger. 8

I confess, I'm a sucker for sunsets. This one generates a nice feeling of serenity. Nice color balance, pretty clouds. I might crop the bottom a smidge more, because I think you have slightly too much of the 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 balance going. Basically the horizion is dead smack in the middle. Very nice scene though.

Wow, I love the pattern created by the canyon. This is a place for you to go back and continue to shoot in a variety of lighting conditions. Usually I see the canyon from closer. I truly enjoy seeing it pulled back a bit. Not totally sure on the cropping, but without the original shot I can't make a determination. 8

This is the ultimate childhood portrait. The look of joy on her face is simply amazing. You can clearly see that not only is the child having a blast, but she really loves the person that she is with. That's a rare and precious gift. This is one you should really have on your wall. Her parents should also have one on the wall. :) Simply spectacular shot, and I think truly one of your best. 10

Little bit dark and flat, but I imagine that's due to time of year this was shot. I love the sweeping coastline leading you to the lighthouse and small village. Nice sense of scale with the person. This is a great spot to keep coming back to over the year. I bet you can get some amazing weather related shots. 8

Beautifull Eyes!

Beautiful eyes yes. Not sure if you did this or not, but the whole image feels way post processed. The skin looks like it was hit with Neat Image, and then the hair sharpened seperatley. If it wasn't in post processing, then the image is somehow giving off a very artifical feel.

Aww! Cute face. Overall, the image is pretty dark and has a bit of a green color cast to it. I'll usually try to get the skintones in a shot to balance out with how my subject actually looks. The other place to look for color balancing is a birght primary color. In this case the yellow bucket. See the green tint? An adorable moment though.

Ah yes, the beauty of first snow. Or third or fourth. ;) This really doesn't tell me anything remarkible about the snow this day. What was it that drew you out to shoot it? First snow? A big fat flake that spaltted against the window? Youve successfully documented the snow. Now take me the next step- snow me, I mean show me something special about the snow. That's part of what differentiates a snapshot from a "artistic" shot.
